■ “The members appeared on (‘Odoru! Sanma Goten!!’), but I’ve always watched it and I’ve always wanted to appear on it, so I admired it.” (Snow Man Raul)
The episode of “Dancing! Sanma Goten!!” (Nippon TV) that aired on August 6th featured “How to spend your days off: Special feature for people who are bad at it.”
At the opening, Akashiya Sanma appeared on the show, but his voice was hoarse and all the guests were shocked, asking, “What!?” and “What happened?”. When Sanma told Hiromi, “It’s his fault,” he revealed that something had happened when he, Sanma, Hiromi, Ueda Shinya (Cream Stew), and Enari Kazuki went golfing on their day off. Since Sanma couldn’t speak, his remarks were broadcast with subtitles.
The guest was former TV Asahi announcer Yuta Tomikawa’s eldest son, Tatsumu Tomikawa, who made his first appearance. When he introduced himself as “only three months into the agency” and “affiliated with Avex,” Sanma was so surprised that he couldn’t speak, but instead he got all the guests involved in an over-reaction.
Also, Raul (Snow Man) made his first appearance. “The other members were there, but I’ve been watching it for a long time, and I wanted to be there too, and I admired it. I sat here and I never expected…” he said, expressing his surprise at something.
In the theme “My day off wasn’t supposed to be like this,” opinions immediately clashed between “those who have fun on their days off” and “those who don’t want to go out on their days off.” When Kawada Hiromi said, “If I search for ‘how to spend my days off’ to make the most of my days off, it ends up being the afternoon,” Hiromi criticized her, saying, “Why don’t you do it the day before?”
When Raul said, “I fill my schedule up on my days off, but when I wake up on my days off, I hate everything,” the people who don’t want to go out all agreed, saying, “I know what you mean!” Hiromi, who was astounded, urged Raul, “Why don’t you just call me once?” and “I’ll go if you tell me everything.”
However, even Hiromi agreed with Yuki Hirako (Arco & Peace)’s concern about “TV shows that make you unable to leave the house,” saying, “You shouldn’t watch that.” Furthermore, Raul said that for some reason, he felt like “if I go to a famous tourist spot, I’ll lose,” and revealed that when he went to Paris, he somehow felt like he’d lost at a world-famous tourist spot.
In the next topic, “How to spend your holidays that may seem wasteful to others but are super fulfilling,” Kawada and Shelly were found to have completely opposite ways of “spending holidays with their children.” They were at odds, saying, “Research is everything,” and “That’s what I hate!” Komori Hayato (GENERATIONS), who once heard Hiromi say that he just wants to be on the move, was stunned and said, “That’s ridiculous.” Hiromi then confessed how he spends the day before the 2023 “24-Hour TV” charity marathon. Yasuko, the 2024 charity marathon runner, was shocked to hear it.
Other things revealed include Yasuko’s difficult way of spending time “thinking about Sanma all day long,” Fujita Rei’s “day off invention that makes you feel like you’ve gained something,” Mukaizato Yuka, the popular actress who appears in a Hollywood drama series, revealing “a place that makes you feel like you’re traveling abroad,” and Sanma and Hiromi’s very mundane way of spending their days off.
