Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is celebrating its 35th anniversary since its debut, and the second installment of their “NO BORDER Trilogy”, “Ano Natsu no Aimai ME feat. SUPER EIGHT”, was released today, August 8th, Eight Day, and the music video has also been released.
This song is a dance number that is perfect for the summer, depicting the youthful yet sad heart of a man, and is a vivid song that gives a glimpse of the various sides of “cool” and “comical” Skapara and SUPER EIGHT. The rap part is also one of the highlights.
In the music video, SUPER EIGHT performs dance moves, and Skapara also tries their hand at dancing in a music video for the first time in 35 years. Check out the video where you can see both of them doing cool and pop music.

In addition, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of their debut, they will release their first original full album in about three years and seven months, “35,” on Wednesday, October 23rd.
The CD includes a total of 15 songs, such as “Kaze ni Tatagu Blues feat. TAKUMA (10-FEET)”, which was released as the 35th anniversary kick-off single, “Ichinichi Hana feat. imase & Narashino High School Brass Band” and “Ano Natsu no Aimai ME feat. SUPER EIGHT”, which are currently being released as part of the “NO BORDER” trilogy, and “The Last Ninja”, which was the theme song for the movie “Migakiri Chushingura” starring Muro Tsuyoshi, as well as “Memory Band” with SUPER EIGHT as a bonus track.
“Memory Band” was released in 2018 and is sung by Kinichi Mogi (drums). Atsushi Yanaka (baritone sax), who wrote the lyrics, said at the time of the song’s release, “Memory Band is about the bond that ties together memories. It’s a song about the ‘band’ itself, which takes to the stage bundling together memories.”
SUPER EIGHT have performed this song many times on television and at live shows, and it has become a popular song with many SUPER EIGHT fans saying things like “Memory Band made me cry the most today! I was so moved!” and “Memory Band touched my heart!”
The “CD+Blu-ray” and “CD+DVD” versions, which include bonus footage, will have the same content, including live footage from the LINE CUBE SHIBUYA performance from last year’s tour, “2023 HALL TOUR “JUNK or GEM ~Autumn&Winter,” live footage from the “35th Anniversary Special Performance Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra x Billboard Classics at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater,” and music videos for a total of seven songs.
The[Fan Club Limited Edition]includes a best selection of music from the “35th Anniversary Special Performance Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra x Billboard Classics at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater” on CD DISC 2, an LP-sized paper jacket, and an instant camera group photo.
Furthermore, an online MEET & GREED will be held on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th! Applications will be accepted via a limited-time lottery, making it a very luxurious event.
In addition, SUPER EIGHT has been announced as an additional guest for the “35th Anniversary Live Skapara Koshien Supported by NatureLab” to be held on Saturday, November 16th.
