The near-future hospitality adventure app game “18TRIP” will release the soundtrack “18TRIP Cassette #01 ‘Good Luck'” on November 20th. The visual of 18is (read as “Aibisu”), a character designed by character designer Oyo, which will be used on the cassette tape jacket, has been released.
The latest visual shows the 18is waiting at the airport to depart, and is packed with elements of the near future setting of “18TRIP” and “HAMA Tours,” the company the 18is belong to.
In addition, details of the enclosed bonuses for the five titles, including this cassette, have been released. “18TRIP Cassette #01 ‘Good Luck'” includes a gift code to download the title illustration that can be used in the app game, and each group cassette of “18TRIP Cassette #02, #03, #04, #05” “HAMA Nice Trip” series includes a gift code to download a limited SR card with an original illustration of each group’s character visual drawn by Oyo that will be used on the jacket to be announced at a later date. In addition, all cassettes include a serial code for the “NeSTREAM LIVE” app that allows you to listen to the sound source on your smartphone. The number of cassettes produced is limited, and delivery on the release date will be closed once the reservation number is reached, so please make your reservation as soon as possible.
The deadline for the “Serial Number Present Campaign for Each Group’s Fan Meeting (Side B) Application,” which is being carried out at some stores when pre-ordering each group’s cassette, is fast approaching. The application deadline for “18TRIP Cassette #02 and #03,” which will be released on December 4th, is 11:59 PM on August 19th, and the application deadline for “18TRIP Cassette #04 and #05,” which will be released on December 25th, is 11:59 PM on September 7th. Details of the official cassette player for “18TRIP” have also been released. The official HAMA Tours cassette player, “Tapiee” (pronounced “ta-pee”), has a skeletal body that matches the worldview of the work, and the print on the body and other aspects were designed by “BALCOLONY.”, who also worked on various designs for the work. Orders will be accepted from 19:00 on August 13th to 23:59 on August 25th on Pony Canyon’s anime mail order site, “Canyon”. However, orders will close once the number of items ready for delivery has been reached around the end of November, so please make sure to place your order early.

About playback speed
・Generally, cassette playback devices (decks, players, etc.) have individual differences in playback speed, and strictly speaking, all speeds are different (Incidentally, even in the 1990s, when cassettes were at their peak, the tolerance for new products on the market was said to be 0.5% to 2%). The playback speed is adjusted when the product is shipped from the factory, but individual differences may occur depending on the initial operation and frequency of use.
This product has a function that allows you to fine-tune the motor rotation speed. There is a small hole in the lower right corner of the panel on the back of the main unit, and by inserting a flat-head precision screwdriver (about 1.4 mm) into this hole and turning it left and right, you can fine-tune the tape speed.
Noise
・When using a cassette player near electrical appliances or other objects that emit electromagnetic waves, electrical “noise” may occur. In addition, “noise” may also occur due to vibration of the tape. In the heyday of cassettes in the 1980s, high-spec, high-end models manufactured by major Japanese manufacturers had a special stabilizer function that fixed the cassette body in an optimal state, reducing vibration and enabling stable sound quality playback with less “noise.” However, since this product is a gadget-like item, it does not have high-precision functions.
