TREASURE is a global boy group that debuted in August 2020 on the survival audition program “YG Treasure Box,” and since the release of their debut song “BOY,” they have swept the rookie awards at major awards such as the Asian Artist Award, MAMA, Golden Disc Awards, and Seoul Music Awards.

TREASURE held their second nationwide fan meeting, “2024 TREASURE FAN MEETING ~WONDERLAND~,” starting at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa on Saturday, July 6th. They then went on to hold four performances over two days, on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th, at the Fukuoka International Center in Fukuoka Prefecture, which is also member HRUTO’s hometown. They went on to perform 23 shows over 13 dates in 6 cities, attracting a total of 170,000 people, an unprecedented scale for a Korean boy group, touring all over the country, and TREASURE’s last solo Japan performance of 2024 ended in great success.

Although TREASURE is a live-type artist, they are also known for the fast-paced conversations between the members. This year’s fan meeting was divided into two parts: games and performances. In the game corner, the members went down to the audience and played games against each other, bringing the members closer to the audience than ever before, and it was a fan meeting that deepened the bond between the TREASURE members and the fans.
The subtitle “WONDERLAND” is a song from his second full album “REBOOT,” which was released in Korea in July 2023 and became his first million-seller. The subtitle “WONDERLAND” was decided on from the lyrics that express the feeling of love at first sight, “I’ve felt that everything is special since the day I met you,” and the existence of “you” that he met by fate, making it a perfect fit for this fan meeting.

During the performance, they performed the Japanese version of their latest song “KING KONG”, which reached number one on the iTunes charts in 18 countries, for the first time in Japan. At other shows, they performed the Korean version of the song, but since this Fukuoka show was the final one, it was a nice surprise gift from the members. Furthermore, at the end of the main show, they performed the original Japanese song “REVERSE”, which is also the theme song for the TV Asahi Friday night drama “Densetsu no Atama Sho”, and the venue was filled with excitement as the show closed with loud cheers.

The first performance of “KING KONG -JP Ver.-” this time is the title song of the 2nd JAPAN SINGLE “KING KONG / REVERSE” to be released on Wednesday, August 21st. It is a dance song with lyrics expressing blind sad love, “I know it can’t be fulfilled, but I will give everything to love you”. “REVERSE” is an emotional upper tune that is typical of TREASURE, with the strong will to “be reborn as a new self, a true self, and grab the future”. “REVERSE -Drama Edit-“, which was released in advance, won first place on the iTunes K-POP / Pop Chart, mu-mo Download Real-time Ranking, AWA Real-time Rising Ranking, and Rakuten Real-time Ranking, and was also ranked in the top ranks of LINE MUSIC after its release, and it is a hot topic song that has swept the top of each distribution chart.

Although the nationwide fan meeting tour has concluded, TREASURE will be releasing “KING KONG -JP Ver.-“, which was first performed in Japan at the final show, on August 19th (Monday) at 0:00, and the latest single containing the song is also scheduled to be released.
