An intermission clip from the film “Pride and Goodness” (released nationwide on September 27th), co-starring Fujigaya Taisuke (Kis-My-Ft2) and Nao, has been released.

The intermission video, which has been showing in theaters nationwide (excluding some theaters) since August 9th, features Fujigaya Taisuke and Nao passionately talking about the original novel and the film, which they said shocked them, as well as footage from the film.

Kaori (Fujigaya) and Nao (Nao), who have been dating through a dating app but haven’t been able to decide on their future for a year, have no confidence in themselves and have been living on the path laid out by their parents. The two, who have completely different upbringings and personalities, continue to date smoothly, but just after getting engaged, Nao suddenly disappears. Why did her fiance disappear?

Regarding the two characters who seem to be heading in the same direction but are not moving at the same time, Nao said, “I thought that the misunderstanding between men and women is a great mystery,” and said that she realized this once again after acting. Fujigaya, who revealed the reason why he chose the original novel as his favorite in life, praised it highly, saying, “The words about love and life really hit home.”

One of the highlights of the film is that it depicts an original climax while retaining the theme of the original work, and at the end of the intermission footage there is a comment from the original author, Tsujimura Mizuki, who gives her stamp of approval to the film, saying, “The climax was a masterpiece throughout the entire film.”

Minako, a friend who was introduced to Maki by Ka, is not impressed by Ka’s shrewdness, saying, “She seems to be trying too hard.” She can’t help but compare Ka to her ex-girlfriend when she sees that they haven’t decided on marriage even after a year of dating.
