The Blu-ray and DVD box set of the TV Tokyo Thursday Drama 24 “Mass-Produced Rico: The Life of the Last Plastic Model Girl,” starring Nogizaka46 member Yoda Yuki (every Thursday from 12:30am), will be released on December 6th.
In July 2022, Yoda Yuuki’s first lead role in a terrestrial TV drama series, “Mass-Produced Riko: The Life of a Plastic Model Girl,” was broadcast, followed in July 2023 by “Mass-Produced Riko: The Life of Another Plastic Model Girl,” which depicts “another world.” Yoda and other cast members from the previous series appeared in completely different roles with the same name, which became a hot topic.
And the long-awaited third and final installment of the series, “Mass-Produced Rico: The Life of the Last Plastic Model Girl,” has a “family” theme and depicts the summer that Rico and her family spend together after returning to their hometown.
In this film, not only will the lead actress Yoda Yuki be starring, but Tanaka Yoji will also be reprising his role as Yajima Hajime, also known as “Ya-san,” the owner of Yajima Model Shop, a plastic model shop that is the only common entity between the three worlds.
Once again, with production cooperation from BANDAI SPIRITS, various real-life plastic models will appear in each episode, such as “Gundam Barbatos,” “30MS Sakuragi Mano,” “Mobile Suit Z Gundam HGUC 1/144 Hyaku Shiki,” “Kaiju No. 8,” and “HG 1/35 Lancelot Albion.”
