Sarasa appears in the 16th installment of Tower Records’ “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE. @”!

This year, Saraga has been attracting the attention of listeners, especially the younger generation, by appearing at numerous festivals both in Japan and abroad, including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’24. They will release their long-awaited second album, “Golden Child,” on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

To commemorate this, Tower Records will begin releasing the latest graphic design on Tower Records Online and other sites and social media operated by Tower Records from Friday, August 16th. The posters will also be displayed in 17 designated stores starting Saturday, August 24th.

In addition, a making-of report that gives a peek behind the scenes of the poster shoot will be released today, Friday, August 16th, and a making-of and interview video will be released on the “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” website on Tuesday, September 3rd, the day the album arrives.

Sarasa

A singer-songwriter from Shonan with a free mind and unique perspective. He embraces all genres such as SOUL, R&B, and ROCK, and captivates listeners with his somewhat ennui-filled melodies and melancholy singing voice. Influenced by the music genre blues, born from sadness and depression, he transforms negative emotions and events into creative ones and affirms them under the theme of his own coined word “Live Bluesy.”

In July 2021, they released their debut single “Nail Island” and began their activities in earnest. Just one year after their debut, they performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’22. In December 2022, they released their first album, “Inner Ocean”.

In December 2023, their solo live (star) at Shibuya WWW X in Tokyo sold out in one day. In addition, they have also performed at GREEENROOM FESTIVAL, Asagiri JAM, Ganbeki Music Festival, LUCFest in Taiwan, and Korea.

He has performed at many large festivals both in Japan and overseas, including the ASIA SONG FESTIVAL. In addition to his musical activities, he is also active in many other fields, including as an art artist, apparel brand buyer, and hula dancer.

A tour of Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka is scheduled for September 2024.
