Anna Tsuchiya starts a new rock band! “I want to deliver real rock” – a new challenge in the indie scene!

NOLUC Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akinobu Sasaki), a comprehensive creative agency specializing in branding design and digital marketing, is pleased to announce that artist, actress, and model Anna Tsuchiya has formed a new rock band, “BLVCKPHOENIX,” and will be taking on a new challenge in the indie scene.

Anna Tsuchiya, an artist, actress, and model who celebrated her 25th debut anniversary last year, will form the rock band “BLVCKPHOENIX” on August 8, 2024 as a new challenge for this milestone year. She will begin her activities in the indie scene with the goal of delivering real, heart-shaking rock music.

This project began when Tsuchiya asked the up-and-coming musicians who have supported Tsuchiya’s musical activities for many years as his backing band to work with him to create the “band sound” that he admires. The four-piece band is made up of AKIRA on guitar, OSCAR on bass, and YUDAI on drums. Each of them is a strong player who has been active in various music scenes, and they will deliver “a sound that can only be produced now, having gained a variety of experiences. Raw, real rock.”

Anna Tsuchiya (Vocal/Writing)
Debuted in 1998. Model, actress, singer, and TV personality. With her excellent singing voice, she has collaborated with many artists and produced original songs. In recent years, she has been active worldwide, appearing as a guest at festivals around the world and releasing songs in China.

AKIRA (Guitar)

He is active in his own bands BELT and IMOCD!, and has served as a support member for MONORAL, as well as Spin Aqua, a band formed by Anna Tsuchiya and KAZ (Oblivion Dust, VAMPS), and DAIGO☆STARDUST.

OSCAR (Bass)

After playing in a band in Finland, a Nordic country, he returned to Japan and has been playing in his own band as well as supporting various other artists. He is a bass player with roots in Japan and Spain.

YUDAI (Drums)
Born in Kochi Prefecture. Drummer for AIR SWELL. Actively supports artists and bands. Animal lover.

The band’s debut solo concert will be held in Tokyo on November 21st and in Osaka on December 20th.
Advance ticket reservations with special benefits will be announced soon on the official Instagram account. New songs and albums will also be released digitally.
