Kenshi Yonezu world tour confirmed! Teaser video for "Kenshi Yonezu 2023 TOUR / Fantasy" also released

■The world tour will consist of 8 performances in 6 cities: Shanghai, Taipei, London, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles!

Kenshi Yonezu has released a teaser video for the live footage “Kenshi Yonezu 2023 TOUR / Fantasy,” which will be included on the “video version” (first limited edition) of his sixth album, “LOST CORNER,” which will be released on August 21st.

In addition, he announced that the world tour “Kenshi Yonezu 2025 TOUR / JUNK” will begin in January 2025 and will begin in March.

“Kenshi Yonezu 2023 TOUR / Fantasy” contains the entire performance of the tour finale held at Yokohama Arena on July 2, 2023. With the theme of “fantasy,” the tour has performed 24 shows at 11 venues across the country, and at the tour finale, the band secretly performed “Globe,” the theme song for the film “How Do You Live?” by director Hayao Miyazaki (the character “崎” is officially spelled “tatsusaki”), which had not yet been released at the time.

The teaser video released this time includes “Globe,” sung with the warm yet tense feel of the original, as well as aggressive performances with dancers of “KICK BACK,” “Kanden,” and “Uma to Shika,” as well as emotionally sung songs such as “Lemon,” “M87,” “Fireworks,” and “Gray and Blue.”

A world tour has been announced, with eight shows in six cities across Asia, Europe and the US, as additional shows to the “Kenshi Yonezu 2025 TOUR / JUNK” to be held in 2025. From March to April, the tour will visit Shanghai, Taipei, London, Paris and New York, before concluding in Los Angeles.

This will be Kenshi Yonezu’s first performance in Europe and the United States. In addition to his first dome performance in Japan, “Kenshi Yonezu 2023 TOUR / Kuusou” will be his largest live tour ever. The venues for the world tour and how to purchase tickets will be announced at a later date.

The first round of tickets for the domestic tour “Kenshi Yonezu 2025 TOUR / JUNK” will be available from August 20th. Applications will be accepted by lottery until August 25th, and entries will be made using the serial number included in the album “LOST CORNER” to be released on August 21st.
