The eternal maknae Hyobin's first solo concert in Japan is currently being held to great acclaim! Every concert until September 1st is an event day

Hyobin, a former member of the Korean boy band NTB (pronounced N-T-B), which has been active mainly in Japan, is holding the well-received “HYOBIN LIVE in JAPAN vol.1 – Begin again” at Shinjuku J-stage O! in Tokyo and other venues from August 10, 2024. We will report on the performance.

On the first day, August 10th, the 2pm showing was a FREE SHOWCASE, and the venue was filled to capacity with fans who have supported them since their days as a group, as well as K-POP fans attending for the first time.

A pop dance song started the show, and Hyobin appeared on stage with a slightly nervous look on his face. Unlike when he was with the group, he performed the dance number alone, without any back-up dancers.

Nevertheless, the audience was captivated by Hyobin’s dynamic performance, which beautifully showed off her naturally slender figure and long, slender legs.

After the song ended, she greeted the audience with a friendly, soft smile, in stark contrast to her cool performance, saying, “It’s been a while, everyone!” She looked all the way to the back of the venue, staring at each and every person, and once again thanked everyone for coming to see her.

The FREE SHOWCASE then continued with a bang, featuring dance numbers at its core.

On August 18th, Hyobin also appeared on stage in a Japanese-style costume as part of a summer festival event. Fans also participated in the performance wearing yukata robes and other attire, feeling like they were going to a summer festival, and made summer memories together.

During the talk corner that day, they played a cheesy game of guessing what was in a box without Hyobin being able to see it. Even at times like that, Hyobin showed his “eternal youngest” nature by saying, “Eh? Is this scary?”, but he also showed off his push-ups and said, “But I’m a strong man who’s already been to the army, so it’s okay! See!”, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout.

Hyobin’s fulfilling solo performance, which includes dancing, ballads, talk and games, is running until September 1st.
