■LiSA will release new single “Black Box” on August 21st!
LiSA will release her 22nd single “Black Box” on August 21. The music video for “Brainwashing,” a song from the single with lyrics and music by Kitani Tatsuya, has been released.
“Brainwashing” is a song that LiSA offered to Kitani Tatsuya, as she felt a punk mentality in his music. It is an alternative rock number with an impressive bass line by Kitani Tatsuya, who also works as a bassist.
The lyrics are memorable for the repeated chorus phrase, “Destroy it, wash it away.” The highlight of the music video is the unrealistic production of “LiSA washing her brain at a laundromat,” which links to the lyrics and title, and the video is a glimpse into the dark, emotional song and distorted sound.
The single “Black Box” will be released in three formats. The first press limited edition will include a CD with a 20-page photo booklet and a set of four stickers, the regular edition will include only the CD, and the limited edition will include a CD and Blu-ray, as well as a sticker with an original illustration from the anime and a digipack with an original illustration from the anime.
In addition, the first press limited edition, first press regular edition, and first press limited edition packaging will include a flyer with a serial number for a chance to win a prize in a lottery.
