AWA, a subscription-based music streaming service operated by AWA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akio Togashi), will host the 32nd episode of “AWA Stage (commonly known as Awaste),” a program that invites notable artists, mainly from the internet scene, as guests each time and paves the way for the next stage of the scene together with knowledgeable MCs, in the online space “Lounge,” which anyone can join for free, from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024.
The guests for the 32nd episode are “RuLu”, a Vocaloid artist who crosses over a variety of genres; “WaMi”, a singer/lyricist who traverses various dance music tracks with her unique voice; and “Aglio Olio e Peperoncino”, who debuted in November last year under the title of “Former Four Heavenly Kings VTuber” and this year has been attracting attention for their large-scale activities that are not typical of newcomers, such as playing the lead voice role in a TV anime and singing the theme song.
The show’s MCs will be TAKUYA the bringer, AWA’s official online curator and operator of Akihabara Entas, an event space where over 100 VTubers perform each year, writer/editor Moriyama de Rotz, and virtual singer Shikibu Meguri.
