The second new TV commercial for Kao’s “Essential” brand, featuring the globally popular five-member group NewJeans, entitled “Sports Festival”, will begin airing nationwide from August 26th.

Kao Corporation’s hair care brand “Essential” will begin rebranding in April 2024 with the brand concept “Brighten Me Up! ” and will appoint NewJeans as its advertising model. The second TV commercial, “Sports Festival,” has the key message “A sparkling morning begins.” It expresses the vitality and freshness of the young generation that is the target of “Essential” through the “Sports Festival.” The theme is perfect for the upcoming “Autumn of Sports,” and you can see NewJeans members participating and struggling in each competition.

The main story depicts NewJeans getting ready in the morning on the day of the sports festival, and enjoying the event with their friends. Don’t miss the sharp dance moves of the five members as they dance to the song “Bubble Gum,” with their “smooth, silky hair” flying in the wind.
