Sagiri Sól released his new single “alphabets” today, Wednesday, August 28th.
Sagiri Sól is a Tokyo-based singer-songwriter with roots in Japan and Iceland who has attracted attention for her collaborations with VivaOla, Wez Atlas, YOSA & TAAR, and others. This song was produced by Shin Sakiura, and is the first collaboration between the two. In addition to the sad sound of a classic pop song that also has the essence of gospel and R&B, the song is impressive for its comfortable guitar riffs, addictive melodies and hooks, and powerful yet delicate singing voice.
The lyrics are based on the theme of “parting from people,” and are filled with memories of the past and feelings of gratitude, and while they are sad, they also evoke a sense of hope for the future.
