Skaai is a hip-hop artist, Yuya Saito is a guitarist/producer for the band Yonawo, and Alex Stevens is an SSW. The three began working together in February 2024 and started making music. With a background in a variety of music genres such as hip-hop, soul, funk, and rock, they pursue an impulsive, unbalanced but pleasant sound image, and above all, they present a story and worldview that can only be told by the three people who live together.
Their first single, “Broken, yes we can,” is a whistle that signals the new journey of the three members. Though they all share the commonality of being from Fukuoka, they came to Tokyo at different times, and have different goals and musical styles. They speak frankly about their current situation, which is as joyful as it gets: “We can dance all night ’till the morning, ’till our hearts be broken.
