SpecialThanks is a leader in the melodic punk scene, boasting a rich career and solid popularity. Their reputation, cultivated through live performances both in Japan and overseas, is rapidly increasing, and while they are well respected by other musicians, they are still actively working as a duo consisting of Misaki on vocals/guitar and Yoshida Taaki on drums/chorus, who still exude fresh charm and aura. At live performances, they are a three-piece band with a supporting bassist, and their blend of sweet vocals that melt the heart with the thrill and speed of punk makes this band unique. They have an overwhelming presence at events, and the venue is filled with fun chaos as fans of all ages and genders mix together, from genuine punk ages who go wild in the mosh pit to young audiences who recognize them on SNS, and overseas listeners who became fans through Western music covers on YouTube.
After going through the difficult times of the coronavirus, this is the first full-length CD release in about four years since the previous album. It’s 13 gems that were slowly matured and created over a year and a half from the conception. Each one is the best POP, but it’s a new era of punk rock that is overflowing with the initial impulse of rock, and it’s a world-class POPS born in Japan. The artwork and special features are full of humor and gratitude to the fans, making it a love-filled album. The first limited edition comes with a CD containing a part of the solo live performance held at Spotify O-crest in Shibuya on April 20th of this year. In addition, as a completely limited production set, a sound-emitting can badge “play button” that allows you to listen to three live songs will be added, making it a luxurious three-piece set. In addition, 13 types of stickers related to the 13 songs will be created and included in each form.
The band will be touring around the country to promote the album, visiting 14 locations, with tickets going on sale from Saturday, September 7th.

Since her debut, she has performed at numerous large music festivals and live circuit events, leading the female vocal melodic punk scene, while also performing theme songs for the TV anime series “Wolf Girl and Black Prince,” which was made into a movie and became popular both domestically and internationally, as well as numerous TV dramas.
