Kenshi Yonezu to release UNIQLO UT worldwide! AR LIVE world tour also underway

■The special AR live experience event “LOST CORNER AR LIVE in UNIQLO” will be held at UNIQLO stores from September 13th.

A collaboration between Kenshi Yonezu and Uniqlo’s graphic T-shirt brand “UT”, “Kenshi Yonezu UT”, will be released in Uniqlo stores and online stores in Japan and around the world from September 13th.

This collaboration “Yonezu Kenshi UT” includes six T-shirts, including “Globe”, the theme song for the movie “How Do You Live?” directed by Studio Ghibli’s Miyazaki Hayao (the kanji for “崎” is spelled “tatsusaki” in Japanese), “M87”, the theme song for the movie “Shin Ultraman”, “KICK BACK”, the opening theme for the TV anime “Chainsaw Man”, “I Was Looking at the Moon”, the theme song for the game “FINAL FANTASY XVI”, “POP SONG”, the PlayStation commercial song, and the jacket design for his fifth album “STRAY SHEEP”. The jacket art was drawn by Yonezu Kenshi, with only “Globe” being the original layout drawing by Miyazaki Hayao.

A special collection video produced to commemorate this collaboration was also released on Uniqlo’s official social media accounts, and it was also announced that an interview with Kenshi Yonezu will be published in “UT magazine” from 12:00 on September 13th.

In addition, a special AR live experience event, “LOST CORNER AR LIVE in UNIQLO,” will be held at UNIQLO stores from September 13th to December 13th. Recently, to celebrate the release of Kenshi Yonezu’s sixth album, “LOST CORNER,” the AR LIVE event “LOST CORNER AR LIVE in HARAKADO” was held for a limited time from August 15th to 25th at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku, Tokyo. With the cutting-edge live experience becoming a hot topic, you can now enjoy the live performance on your smartphone in UNIQLO stores around the world.

The fictional Kenshi Yonezu will be performing an AR live world tour, moving the stage from Harajuku to Uniqlo stores around the world. Anyone can experience this project on their smartphone by scanning the two-dimensional barcode installed in Uniqlo stores, so be sure to visit the store and take part in this special experience. The experience will last 30 seconds.
