It has been announced that Kitamura Fuki will release her new single “Shiori feat. Kusada Kazutoshi” on Wednesday, September 4th.
Kitamura Fuki showed off her versatility in the dance music EP 500mm released in June, and in July, she performed at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL for the second year in a row, following last year. This work is a departure from the electronic theme of her previous work, with an acoustic approach that fully demonstrates her charm as a vocalist. The song was produced around the theme of various emotions that suddenly come to mind in everyday life, and is said to be a work that conveys the transience of everyday life, anxiety and impatience, and hope for the future in poetic words.
The arrangement and piano for the album were handled by the talented pianist,Kazutoshi KusadaTo,Mai Otani(Violin),Tokura OjiroThe gorgeous members, including (cello), have gathered. A special song that was born from a collaboration at BLUE NOTE PLACE in Ebisu, Tokyo last year has finally been released. This is Kitamura Fuki’s first song with strings arrangement.
The artwork was created by florist LIIFT.Saori AbeThe song’s delicate emotional nuances are expressed through colorful and deep flower visuals. The introspective sunflowers on both sides make for a striking piece.
In addition, the single “Aoi Hana feat. Kitamura Fuki” was released in July under the name of Kazutoshi Kusada on the collaborative label vase with LIIFT, which also features Mai Otani and Yojiro Tokura. Check it out.
