A party celebrating the 10th anniversary of Okinawa-born beatmaker NGONG will be held at Harlem & BX Cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo on Sunday, September 15th.
NGONG started making beats after a short stay in California in 2014. Since then, he has provided numerous tracks to rappers and singers active in Japan, starting with Yo-Sea’s debut work “I Thinking She Is”. He has worked on many popular songs, such as Yo-Sea’s “Nana (feat. Daichi Yamamoto)” and IO’s “RAISE feat.MUD, $MOKE OG”.
This party will celebrate the 10th anniversary of NGONG’s activities. Okinawan artists and DJs such as CHICO CARLITO, Hiiragito, Leonald, Kethug, and NAPPY BWOY will gather at CLUB HARLEM, known as the mecca of hip-hop, along with MUD, 18scott, BANNY BUGS, and AZU.
In addition, Awich’s new generation snake liquor brand HABUSH and Shibuya’s music bar Fumin Yugi Lion will be strongly supporting the party with Okinawa, his hometown, as the keyword. Don’t miss out on this party with a luxurious lineup that rivals any hip-hop festival.
