Vaundy’s new song “Fujin” will be the theme song for the drama “Lion’s Lair” starring Yuya Yagira

■”Fujin” is a mid-tempo number about thinking about someone!

Vaundy’s new song “Fujin” (pronounced: Fuujin) has been chosen as the theme song for the TBS Friday drama “Lion’s Lair” (every Friday from 10pm), which will start in October.

The drama “Lion’s Lair” is a human suspense story about brothers Komori Koto, a kind, ordinary, earnest young man who works at city hall and is played by Yagira Yuya, and Mijito, who has autism spectrum disorder, who become embroiled in a certain incident after meeting a mysterious boy who suddenly appears and calls himself “Lion.”

This work is a completely original story that pleasantly intertwines a heart-warming human drama and an unpredictable, thrilling suspenseful development. Vaundy’s new mid-tempo song “Fujin,” written to match the world view of the drama and about longing for someone, adds a touch of elegance to the work.

Along with the release of the theme song information, the drama’s poster visual has also been released.

The striking design features the brothers Kouto, played by Yagira, and Mijito, played by Bando, and a boy named Sato Sora who suddenly appears and calls himself “Lion,” peeking at the viewer through gaps in the flowers and plants with the sky as a backdrop, and the orange flowers surrounding them are meant to resemble a lion’s mane.

Furthermore, the appearance of a “lion” in front of the protagonist Koto and his younger brother Mijito expresses a glimpse into a changing future. Furthermore, the surrounding graffiti also emphasizes the ominous suspense of the three being threatened by something.

The catchphrase, “We decided to see a different view…,” is an impressive line that appears in the drama. In what scene will this line be uttered? What fate will this one word lead to? The poster makes you wonder, and makes you even more excited.

・About the poster
The orange flower enclosure is designed to resemble a lion’s mane, representing everyone peeking into a different view from the same routine every day.
A story of ultimate love. The poster has the perspective of someone peeking in, but also being watched by someone, so I created it with the hope that everyone who watches this gentle story could watch over it together.
