Yuuzou Band announces artists providing songs for their new EP "We will"! Artist comments also released

The artists providing the four songs on Yuuzou Band’s new EP “We will,” which will be released on November 6th, have been revealed. Comments from the artists have also been released.

“We will” is a concept EP created by the members of a band from a slightly future era, each bringing their own demo. Chiaki Sato, 04 Limited Sazabys, Nobuo Oki (ACIDMAN), and Shinya Ishihara (Saucy Dog) provided the music. The album will be available for pre-order from September 6th.

In addition, the Tokyo performance of “Yuzoubando Zepp Tour 2024 “We will”” to be held at Zepp Haneda (TOKYO) on November 3rd will be live-viewed at movie theaters nationwide. It will also be live-streamed on Stagecrowd. For details, please see the official website.

・Providing the song “Dreams Bundled”
I was in charge of writing the lyrics and composing the song “Yume wo Tsubasaete” sung by Goto Hitori of Yuzuru Band. I was offered to create a song for Goto Hitori from a slightly future age, and I really thought about Bocchi-chan every day. What does Yuzuru Band tie together? The answer to that question is the song. Please look forward to Bocchi-chan’s song, which brings to mind “the past and the future.”

I wrote the lyrics and composed the music for UNITE.
Thinking about it, this was my first experience in providing a song. And it was for my favorite song, “Bocchi the Rock!”
I am very honored to be involved.
This fast-paced melodic song expresses the sensibility of Nikka, who has overcome the past and continues to look forward.
We put it into practice.
I’m looking forward to seeing Cable Band dance to this song.

It was a difficult request – “a song with a high musical IQ, but with a fast-paced, melodic chorus” – but they also added a wonderful arrangement, and I think it turned out to be a really lovely song.
The town of Shimokitazawa is a very important place for us at ACIDMAN, and we don’t think we would be where we are today if the live house Shimokitazawa Garage had not been there.
“Bocchi the Rock!” is also filled with such youthful energy.
I created this piece based on my own imagination of Ryo Yamada’s worldview as a cable tie set in the near future.
I would be delighted if I could be a part of the youth that they believed in, a youth that will continue on forever.

I personally love “Bocchi the Rock!” and read it regularly.
I was really happy to be able to be involved in a work that I love, so I revisited the song from scratch in order to understand Kita-chan’s feelings, and I wrote the melody and lyrics by comparing what I wanted to write with Kita-chan’s feelings.
Live houses are places that make you dream, and I wanted to convey that they’re not the end of the line, so I used the expression “star link station” and tried to include some words that are typical of Kita-chan in a natural way…I packed the song with everything I wanted to do!
