The anime version of peep’s original work “Confinement Zone Level X” will begin airing today! The theme song will be performed by SG and Takuya Sugimoto

Taskey Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Oishi Hiromu) is pleased to announce the artist and title of the theme song for the anime adaptation of “Confinement Zone Level X” (story by Oishi Romy; art by Egashira Taiki, Searchfield Inc.; Webtoon production by taskey STUDIO), an original work for the manga and novel app “peep” developed and operated by the company.

This anime will be broadcast on terrestrial television from Friday, September 6, 2024 as part of “AnimationID,” a joint venture between Imagine Infos Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Maeda Kiyoshi) and Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kitajima Yoshitaka; hereinafter “DNP”).

The opening theme is by “SG” and the ending theme is by “Takuya Sugimoto”

The opening theme for this work is “LUCID DREAM” by Japanese-Korean mixed singer-songwriter “SG”. The theme is lucid dreaming (a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming), and the song is a rock-like number with a surreal and mysterious atmosphere.

The ending theme song is “I and U” by singer-songwriter Takuya Sugimoto, also known as “Kumamoto’s Boyfriend.” Written specifically for this work, this warm ballad is filled with the lyrics and melody of the “light” and “hope” that Sugimoto himself felt as he read the original manga.

Born on July 8, 1994, he is from Kumamoto Prefecture and has blood type B. In 2022, he will make his major debut as the main vocalist of the dance and vocal group “BLACK IRIS”. In March 2023, he will also make his major solo debut as a singer-songwriter. On TikTok, he has 1 million followers under the name “Kumamoto’s Boyfriend” and posts videos in various situations in the Kumamoto dialect that he produces himself.
