The new song “Mizu no Awa” by singer Shido, who is affiliated with KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO/SINSEKAI RECORD, was released digitally today, Wednesday, September 18th.
“Water Bubbles” is a melancholic chill pop song with lyrics that compare the helpless sense of impermanence of Gen Z to bubbles in carbonated water. Shido’s sad yet gentle singing voice makes this a song that accompanies the uncertain emotions that have nowhere to go.
The lyrics and music were written by Shun Ueno, who also worked on 4na’s “hazama,” whose music video has now been viewed over 9.1 million times. It brings out Shido’s new charm as a singer.
The music video for the song will premiere on Wednesday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m.

At the age of 13, he started streaming solo guitar performances on social media under the name “410 (Shidou)”. In the midst of the pandemic, he dedicated his youth to music, live streaming and posting videos of himself singing and playing the guitar almost every day, with the aim of “healing someone.” In the spring of 2023, he made his debut under the name “Shidou” on SINSEKAI RECORD.
