Ryokuoushoku Shakai will digitally release their new song “Because We Are Living Things” on September 20th.
“Because We Are Living Things” is a song written specifically for the junior high school division of the 91st (2024) NHK National School Music Competition (N-Con), with lyrics and music written by Haruko Nagaya (Vo).
It’s a ballad that comforts and encourages those anxieties about change that everyone has. The vocals, which sometimes whisper and sometimes shout, and the band’s performance, plus the chorus ensemble, make for a song full of vitality.
Furthermore, the music video for “Because we are living things” will be released on September 20th at 6pm. The video, which is made up of a series of extreme close-up shots, conveys the reality and miracle of humans as “living things”. The video was directed by video director Takuto Shinbo.
