Perfume's concept album "Nebula Romance Part 1" will be released in advance on September 20th!

Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fujikura Hisashi; hereinafter referred to as “Universal Music”) will be releasing Perfume’s first concept album, “Nebula Romance Part 1,” which is divided into two parts, on Friday, September 20th.

On Saturday, September 21st, Perfume will be celebrating their 25th anniversary since their formation and their 20th anniversary since their major debut. To commemorate this memorable anniversary year, they will be releasing their first epic concept album, “Nebula Romance Part 1,” which is split into two parts, as a digital download of all the tracks. It has also been decided that the album will be released on CD on Wednesday, October 30th.

This work is a concept album like a soundtrack of a fictional movie, condensing the epic drama that the three of them unfold in space, and the jacket photo is designed to resemble a poster of a science fiction movie. The songs include words that evoke space such as “Cosmic Treat,” “Starlight dreams,” and “Mobius,” as well as the latest song “The Light,” which was released ahead of the “Perfume “COD3 OF P3RFUM3 ZOZ5″ Asia Tour 2024” held in various Asian cities the other day, “Love Cloud” and “Sumikko Disco,” which were released digitally last year, and the new song “IMA IMA IMA,” which is the theme song for “Perfume Disco-Graphy 25 Years of History and Miracles,” which is currently being held at Toranomon Hills TOKYO NODE.

The CD will be released in three formats: a fan club limited edition “PTA” members limited edition, which includes bonus footage from last year’s fan club tour, a “first limited edition” and a “regular edition”. Both the “PTA” members limited edition and the “first limited edition” will include a “Nebula Romance Emblem Badge”. This is a merchandise with the same design as the one worn by Perfume in the jacket photo.

On Saturday, September 21, the anniversary of their debut, a live streaming concert will be held from 9:00 pm. In conjunction with the experiential exhibition “Perfume Disco-Graphy 25 Years of History and Miracles,” Perfume’s live performance will be transmitted in 3D space data in real time using NTT’s “3D space transmission and reproduction technology.” By combining past 3D data, a new live performance that fuses real and virtual worlds will be unfolded.

Perfume will be embarking on an arena tour to promote this album, “Perfume 10th Tour ZOZ5 “Nebula Romance” Episode 1,” with 23 shows at 11 locations across the country, starting on Saturday, December 28th.
