Quick Japan gives exclusive coverage of MAZZEL and SKY-HI’s secret summer training camp

■We’ve published a report on MAZZEL’s summer training camp!

MAZZEL (pronounced: Maazel) is an eight-member dance and vocal group that belongs to BMSG, the management/label headed by SKY-HI.

The group debuted in May 2023 and has been steadily expanding its range of activities, holding arena concerts in Tokyo and Osaka in October. In preparation for the arena concert, they held a top-secret training camp for three days near the Kanto region on a certain day in August.

A wide range of activities were carried out, including dance training with member TAKUTO as the instructor, the production of a new song with producer SKY-HI, a BBQ with “Team MAZZEL” including the staff, physical training, and voice training.

In addition, the new song “Our Life Is Always Right” produced at the training camp will be included in the third single “MAZQUERADE” to be released on October 16th.

The general culture magazine “Quick Japan” closely followed the first and second days of the camp. Vol. 174 of “Quick Japan” (on sale October 9th) will feature a report on the two days and comments from producer SKY-HI about the purpose of the camp.

In addition, the online media “QJWeb Quick Japan Web” will feature solo interviews with the eight MAZZEL members asking them about “what MAZZEL needs now,” “what they want to accomplish at this training camp,” and “what their goals are for the rest of the year,” as well as a report in a different format than the magazine.
