Vickeblanka has released a digest of live footage that will be included with the video-packaged merchandise for his album “Knightclub,” which will be released this month.

This live footage is from Vicke Blanka’s third special event, “Vicke Blanka presents RAINBOW ROAD -Den-,” held at Festival Hall in Osaka on Saturday, May 4, 2024, and all 10 songs will be included on this album.

This album is the first in about three years since the previous album “FATE”. In addition to previously released singles such as “Byakuya”, the theme song for the TV Asahi drama “Kasouken no Onna Season 24”, and “Never Run”, which features a beat that gets the crowd excited and plenty of arrangements that Vickeblanka experienced during his North American tour in February this year, the album also includes a new song “Yomigaeri (with Noriyuki Makihara & Ayaka)” in collaboration with Noriyuki Makihara and Ayaka, “High Love”, which is full of euphoria and is colored with falsetto and skillful chorus work, and “Old Rivals (A Self-Cover of “Rivals!”), a self-cover of “Rivals!”, which was a topic of discussion when it was provided to “Hypnosis Mic”.

The band will then embark on a nationwide tour, “VK Blanka Hall Tour 2024 – Knightclub -,” to promote the album. Starting in Nagoya on Friday, September 27th, the band will hold six performances nationwide. The opening songs for the “Black Clover” series continue to be long-running hits, with “Black Catcher” making it into the Top 10 of Spotify’s “Most Played Songs by Japanese Artists Overseas” for three consecutive years since 2020, with monthly listeners exceeding 1.5 million. The total number of plays of all songs on streaming services has exceeded 500 million.
They have performed at events in Saudi Arabia, Italy, and France, drawing in audiences of over 5,000 people at their overseas live shows.
On Sunday, May 5th, 2024, the new song “Never Run”, with lyrics entirely in English, will be released digitally.
