Singer-songwriter eill’s new song “Kakumei Zen’ya” has been chosen as the theme song for Fuji TV’s Monday 9pm drama “Usowai Rhetoric,” which begins airing on October 7th.
“Lie-Solving Rhetoric” stars Suzuka Oji and Matsumoto Honoka as the unusual duo of Iwai Souma (Suzuka), a poor detective with a sharp eye and drowning in debt, and Urabe Kanoko (Matsumoto), who has the strange ability to tell lies apart, as they solve difficult cases that are like a web of lies and truth. It is a retro-modern back-alley detective action drama.
Regarding the decision to perform the theme song, eill commented, “I will be performing the theme song for ‘Lie-Unravelling Rhetoric.’ I’m eill! Tomorrow awaits us, and each and every one of us has our own tomorrow. It could be a day to work hard, a day at a turning point in our lives, a day to do nothing, a sad day, the day to meet someone you love, the day of a concert you’ve been looking forward to for a long time. On nights when we wait for each of our tomorrows. I have created a song for you to listen to on the eve of the revolution. This song was inspired by Kanoko’s brave back figure. I am very excited to see what lies Iwai-sensei will unravel when he meets Kanoko!”
The new song “Kakumei Zen’ya” will be included in eill Major’s 2nd Album “my dream box” to be released on October 9th, and the music video will be premiered on YouTube on the eill Official YouTube Channel at 9pm on September 25th. A teaser for the music video has also been released ahead of the full video, so please look forward to seeing what the full video will look like.
The new album “my dream box” is now on sale as a completely new keychain-type gadget called “KiT”. “my dream box (KiT Ver.)” is available for purchase at the domestic venues of the currently ongoing tour “BLUE ROSE TOUR 2024” (sales for Taiwan and Korea performances are yet to be decided), Pony Canyon Shopping Club, and eill OFFICIAL STORE. At the domestic venues of “BLUE ROSE TOUR 2024” and at Pony Canyon Shopping Club & eill OFFICIAL STORE, a dress-up jacket with a different design will be included on a first-come, first-served basis. “KiT” is a new device that allows you to enjoy various content including music by linking it with a smartphone app, which is different from conventional CDs. “KiT” will be released on September 25th, and the remaining new songs will be added when the album is released on October 9th.
In addition to the songs on the album, the contents of the special movie exclusive to KiT, which will be added on October 9th, were also announced. The special movie is footage shot exclusively for this purpose, and will include live studio footage of the album’s songs “Baby, with u” and “Suki.” In addition, a special interview with music producer Ryo’LEFTY’Miyata, who was heavily involved in the production of the new album, will also be included, unravelling the behind-the-scenes story of the album’s production. The only remaining domestic performances of the currently ongoing “BLUE ROSE TOUR 2024” are Sapporo and Tokyo. Tickets are currently on general sale, but the Tokyo performance has already been announced as sold out. Tickets for the Sapporo performance are running low, so be sure to apply early before they sell out.
