CANDYGIRL releases their first new album in three years, “BLUEBERRY,” today

CANDYGIRL released their new album “BLUEBERRY” today, Wednesday, September 25th.

CANDYGIRL is a unit made up of ferrry and Detch, who promote “Alternative J-POP”. After a silence of about two years, they have been releasing works consistently since 2023.

This album, their first in three years since their first album, “How is the Alt Universe?”, is a work that fully demonstrates their new roots. Unlike their previous electronic dance music, the album contains eight tracks that are heavily influenced by club music, such as UK garage, 90s-00s hip-hop, and R&B, which they say “didn’t exist in me originally.”
