DONGROSSO, a duo consisting of Dongurizu and Shinichi Osawa, releases a mischievous new song reminiscent of the Beastie Boys

“Dongurizu”, a duo of childhood friends who keep rolling around in search of the music they want to make, and “MONDO GROSSO”, the solo project of legendary DJ/producer Shinichi Osawa, have joined forces to release a new song, “SUKIYAKI”, as “DONGROSSO”.

With Osawa Shinichi’s sharp track and Dongurizu’s high-speed rap, this song is reminiscent of the mischievousness of the Beastie Boys when they first debuted, and it’s a must-listen that starts off in top gear.

In addition, a music video has been released consisting of documentary footage of the DIY festival “HACHAMECHA ’24,” which was held by Dongurizu and their friends in the square in front of Kiryu Station to coincide with this year’s “Kiryu Yagibushi Festival,” and which also featured appearances by Osawa Shinichi.

In addition, what appears to be an artist photo generated by AI has also been released.

“DONGROSSO” has resonated with dance music across generations. Is it a limited-time unit? How fast will they drop new songs? We look forward to their unpredictable developments.

DONGROSSO Profile
The duo of childhood friends “Dongurizu” who keep rolling in search of the music they want to make, and the solo project “MONDO GROSSO” of Shinichi Osawa who keeps on being a legendary DJ/producer, are a unit whose artist name is just a combination of their names.
