■ELSEE will hold their second free live at Chatan Park in Shibuya from 4pm on September 28th!
Five-member dance and vocal group ELSEE released their first song “POW POW” on September 27th.
ELSEE is a group consisting of five members, including AKARI, who was a finalist in the audition “Nizi Project” held from 2019 to 2020, as well as KARIN, NANAMI, PONO, and HINA. The start of full-scale activities was reported on September 12th, and there was a lot of anticipation on SNS.
The first song “POW POW” is a number produced and newly written by Giga & TeddyLoid, who are known for providing songs to many artists in addition to their own artist activities.
NANAMI’s delicate vocals reverberate in the romantic verse that gives you a sense of the beginning, and the world opens up with HINA and AKARI’s powerful singing voices, and the song develops quickly and vividly into the addictive “POW POW part.” And the rap part between PONO and KARIN can be said to be the true essence of the strongest tag team.
The premiere of the “POW POW” MV will be released at 9pm on September 27th. Prior to this, two teaser videos have been released so far, and the “Tunnel” where the members perform is a symbolic place that actually exists in Shibuya, and the MV also shows various locations in the Shibuya area. The shooting was said to have taken place.
The dance choreography was handled by KAZtheFIRE, which provides choreography to many talented male artists both domestically and internationally. This is the first time that choreography has been provided to a female artist.
Expectations are high for the full story of the MV, which is unique to the girls who perform street live in Shibuya.
In addition, ELSEE will hold their second free live concert at Chatan Park, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo from 4:00 pm on September 28th.
The free live held on September 23rd, which was ELSEE’s first stage, was a great success with a rush of visitors, and after the show, videos and images taken by fans became a hot topic on SNS. As a playback benefit for “POW POW”, there are also benefits that can only be received at free live concert venues, so fans should check it out.
Along with the start of “POW POW” distribution, various campaigns have started. Various bonus campaigns are also being prepared, including an ELSEE original wallpaper image that can be obtained by playing “POW POW” on Apple Music or Spotify, so be sure to check them out as well.
■Giga Comment
I love girl groups, so I had a hard time deciding what kind of song to write.
It’s a little lighter than our usual self, but it has an edgy side to it, and I think we were able to show a new side.
Combined with the singing skills and dance skills of the five members, it became a perfect debut song.■TeddyLoid comment
The strength in transience, the beauty in the process of growth, and the charm of “ELSEE” were expressed through songs and lyrics.
I was happy to see that the light and sparkling atmosphere of “POW POW” was beautifully showcased through song and dance.
I’m really looking forward to their future.■KAZtheFIRE Comment
This is KAZtheFIRE, who choreographed ELSEE’s “POW POW” this time!
The key points of the choreography are the energetic hand movements and the fun-like rhythm. The members of ELSEE are really tireless and so tough that they won’t take a break unless you really ask them to take a break (lol).
I think this MV is filled with a lot of the girls’ efforts and feelings.I am so happy to be involved in such a wonderful opportunity!
Please enjoy.
