The new monthly drama “Monster” (Kantere/Fuji TV) starring Shuri will begin broadcasting on October 14th. On September 21st, Shuri celebrated her 34th birthday, and a birthday surprise was held at the filming location.

A sudden surprise occurred at the Keiko Okusa Law Office, which is the setting for the drama, where Shuri Ryoko, Jesse Sugiura, Shohei Yosuke Uno, Katsura Yukiko Otsuki, and others performed a certain scene. ” was carried out at the same time as the shooting.

When a staff member calls out, “Everyone! What’s going on today! It’s Shuri-san’s birthday!” Team “Monster” gets excited with applause and cheers. Shuri seemed a little embarrassed by the sudden response, saying, “Huh?” Just then, Uno and Otsuki, who were supposed to have finished filming that day and returned home, appeared with smiles and a gorgeous birthday cake.

Then, Jesse, who was nearby, cheerfully said, “Congratulations… it’s Muscat!” and presented him with a “Shine Muscat”. Otsuki couldn’t help but exclaim, “It’s here!” and smile at the powerful “Jesse puns.” The cast and staff all sang the birthday song and celebrated in a grand manner as Jesse’s words relaxed them.

Shuri said with a smile, “I’m sorry for taking up your time during the busy filming schedule…but I’m really happy! I’ll do my best again this year. Thank you! Let’s do our best in the afternoon shoot as well!” In the final commemorative photo, the four of them struck a harmonious “monster pose” and concluded the event.

■Episode 1 synopsis
Ryoko Kannaba (Shuri) suddenly appears at the Keiko Okusa Law Office, where Keiko Okusa (YOU) is the director, and announces that she has decided to try being a lawyer. Yoshihiro Sugiura (Jesse), a young lawyer who graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, can’t hide his confusion at Ryoko, who doesn’t look like a lawyer in her attire and doesn’t know who she is, but just shows off her lawyer badge.Okusa seems to have known that Ryoko was coming. I accept it easily.

Furthermore, Ryoko takes the stand to defend Ryo Shioya, who was charged with abetting suicide, which Sugiura had intended to refuse. He is said to have sent a message to his girlfriend, Sae Kawano, telling her to die, even though he knew she had attempted suicide in the past. Moreover, she was suffering from mental illness on a daily basis to the point that she had to go to the counselor, Masumi Umemoto. Sugiura advises that it would be impossible for a newcomer to commit suicide, as there is little precedent for such a case, but on the other hand, Okusa orders him to support Ryoko.

When interviewed, Shioya appears completely exhausted and apologizes to Sae, who committed suicide, and says that he never wished for her to die, but rather that he himself wanted to die. In fact, the conversation between the two just before his death began with Shioya’s message that he wanted to disappear.

Ryoko goes to talk to Sae’s boss, Kamioka, and Sae’s parents’ home, but of course they will not listen to what Ryoko, the defendant’s lawyer, has to say, and Ryoko is stuck in a dilemma. Take unexpected action.
