Hikaru Morita of Sakurazaka46 has been appointed as the promotional ambassador for the TV anime “Ao no Hako”.

The TV anime “Ao no Hako” will be broadcast simultaneously nationwide every Thursday at 11:56 pm on 28 TBS stations starting October 3rd. The original work is a popular manga by Kouji Miura, which is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), and will be adapted into a long-awaited anime.

Morita is known as a fan of manga and anime among the Sakurazaka46, and has been a fan of the original work of “Ao no Hako.” He has long cited this work as one of his favorite manga, and has high hopes for it to be made into an anime.
