■ Eight cast members who will play the characters surrounding Iori (Sano Akiya) and Kaho (Kubota Sayu) have also been announced!

Eight new cast members for the drama L “Divorce After Night”, which will start on ABC TV from October 13th and TV Asahi from October 12th, have been announced. A 120-second long PR featuring plenty of the latest scenes from the drama, as well as scene cuts, were also released.

This work, starring Akiya Sano (A! group) for the first time in a terrestrial TV drama series, and co-starring Sayu Kubota and Shin Hasegawa (THE RAMPAGE), is a work of the same name that has exceeded 40 million PVs (as of August 2024). A live-action drama based on WEBTOON’s works.

Hojo Iori (Akiya Sano), a university student who works part-time at a cafe, whose father is the president of a large company, has never been interested in love because many women have approached him on a “profit-and-profit” basis. Meanwhile, he has an unexpected encounter with Kaho (Sayu Kubota), a novelist and a regular customer at the cafe, and is drawn to him.

On the other hand, Kaho continues to support Shinya with all her might despite receiving intense moral harassment from her husband, Shinya (Shin Hasegawa). But one day, he witnesses Shinya cheating on him. Moreover, Kaho decides to divorce Shinya as he continues to tease her without being afraid. Kaho, who lacked confidence in herself and was in the midst of disappointment, was filled with Iori’s pure feelings.

An extremely pure love story that begins the night after a divorce. However, the complicated human relationships surrounding Iori and Kaho will drastically change their lives.

And this time, Asuka Kawazu, Daito Takahashi (the official spelling for “Taka” is “Hadashidaka”), Ai Moritaka, Hideumi Higa, Yuki Tokito, Wan Marui, Hiroto Yoshimitsu, and Kitaro will share the pure love story of Iori and Kaho. It was announced that he will be playing a character who stirs things up.

Asuka Kawazu plays Akari Ikeda, Shinya’s junior and the person with whom he had an affair.

She has a tendency to be arrogant, and she also has the technique to woo men with high specs (suitable for her), and while she is aware that she is popular with men, she is also aware that there are women who are happier than her. I can’t forgive you for being there.

Daito Takahashi plays Ryota Minase, Iori’s college classmate and one of the few friends Iori can open up to.

Ryota is an original character in the drama, and his role is to sense that Iori, who was uninterested in romance, is in love with Kaho and do his best to take care of her.

Ai Moritaka plays Misaki Meguro, who has been Kaho’s friend and understanding since her university days.

Misaki, who works at the same advertising agency as Shinya, has a bright and honest personality, and is one of Kaho’s closest friends. She is dating Ryuji, a colleague of hers, and wants to get married, but…

Ryuji Osaki, played by Hideumi Higa, is a close friend of Shinya and Misaki’s boyfriend.

When Shinya confides in him that he is getting divorced, he seems to be negative about getting married, saying, “I’d be grateful if now Misaki won’t ask me to get married.” However, Shinya realizes that the person he is having an affair with is Akari, who works in the same company…

Yuki Tokito will play Kaho’s older brother Hanagasakiomi, who is four years older than her.

Omi has been studying abroad for a long time since his student days, and is now active on the world stage as a designer. Although she has a mysterious presence wrapped in a veil, she also has a younger sister side that always cares about Kaho.

Wan Marui plays Mai Kawazumi, an editor who works at a publishing company and was in charge of Kaho’s debut novel.

Kaho, who had refrained from writing a novel since her marriage, is approached to serialize it in a literary magazine.

Hiroto Yoshimitsu will play the role of Isao Hojo, Iori’s father and the manager who built Hojo Real Estate in one generation.

Isao, who has been training Iori rigorously as his successor, approaches Iori every now and then, saying, “You can only become a man if you get married and leave an heir.”

Kitaro will play Kenichi Sawaguchi, the manager of the cafe where Iori works part-time.

Sawaguchi becomes friends with Iori, who was a regular customer at the cafe, and invites him to work part-time. He now trusts Iori and watches over him kindly.

■Koki Tanaka (SUPER★DRAGON) passes the baton to Akiya Sano (Ae! group), starring in drama L!

Koki Tanaka, who starred in “Sugar Dog Life”, passed the baton to Akiya Sano, who starred in “Divorce Night”, in the drama L.

“Actually, he had been talking to me for a while about coming to the set of “The Night After Divorce.” I’m glad he actually came to see me,” Sano said with a smile, and Tanaka said, “ Passing the lead baton is just like in a Kamen Rider movie (lol),” he said, eliciting laughter, and cheered Sano, “Good luck with the filming!”

The two have known each other since they co-starred in the movie “Photo Studio That Spells Tomorrow” which was released in June. Looking back, Tanaka, who had many scenes with Sano, said, “He was friendly and talked to me easily, so we got to know each other right away.” Sano replied, “That’s right. After the stage greeting for the movie, we went to eat yakiniku together.” When I went there, I heard from Tanaka that I would be starring in the ABA TV drama L. At that time, I said, “Good luck!” “I never thought that I would be in the opposite position and play the lead role in Drama L.It was another memorable event,” he said, accepting the leading role baton and cheer from Tanaka. .
