A video of Kanna Hashimoto dancing to the theme song "Illumination" for the TV drama series "Omusubi" written by B'z has been released.

“Illumination” is the theme song written by B’z for the TV drama series “Omusubi”. An uncut and uncredited version of the opening video of Kanna Hashimoto dancing energetically to this song has been released.

This video was directed by Jun Tamukai, who is popular for his innovative pop videos, including Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s music videos. The choreography is by TAKAHIRO, who used to be Madonna’s backup dancer. Additionally, illustrations by illustrator Sanremo brighten up the video. Comments from creators who participated in this work have also arrived.

We aimed for an opening that would make Yui’s energy jump out of the screen. During the 125 episodes of broadcasting, I think that both Yui and the viewers will experience many different mornings. It may feel a little different each time, but I hope that I can deliver nourishing energy to any morning.
■Choreography TAKAHIRO Comments
The opening video choreography includes many poses seen in the Heisei era. In addition to poses from gal culture, there are also poses inspired by Heisei anime. The video features the lively smile of the main character, Yui, set to B’z’s heart-pounding song. I’m very happy to be able to work with you on this project. I hope you have energy in the morning!
