I Don’t Like Mondays., commonly known as “Idora”, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024, is a four-member rock band consisting of YU (Vo), CHOJI (Gu), KENJI (Bas), and SHUKI (Dr). In 2022, he will serve as the theme song for the TV anime “ONE PIECE” with “PAINT”, and from 2023, he will expand his activities overseas and hold a world tour. Regarding the band’s first prime time drama tie-up song, YU said, “When I was approached about the drama, I was really excited.When it comes to tie-ups, there are often creative restrictions, but I was given the freedom to create. We were able to fill in the things we wanted to do as a band,” he commented with joy.

In addition, “Shadow” was written specifically for this drama, and regarding the points he kept in mind when creating the song, SHUKI said, “Since the setting is a courtroom, and it is the opening song, while valuing the worldview of the drama, I composed the song with the intention of creating a momentum that would make it start running.I tried to create a slightly dark but pop-like balance that would represent the mysterious yet cute character of the main character. I want it!” he commented.

“Shadow” will be included in the EP “FOCUS” commemorating the 10th anniversary of their debut, which will be released on October 9th. “FOCUS” is a collection of their unique musicality that they have discovered over the past 10 years, and a retrospective of the past 10 years.
