vistlip has decided to release a new album on January 8, 2025, their first release in about 3 years!
In their new song “BNS”, which was just released in September, vistlip showed off a side of their musicality that has evolved even further in their 18th year together. I look forward to seeing what kind of songs will be included in the new album, which will be released early next year.
The album is currently being recorded, and the title has not yet been decided, but the release date and album specifications have been announced first. This new album will be released in three formats: a “completely limited edition” for FC members, a “vister” with a DVD and a “lipper” with a CD only for general distribution.
The “Limited Edition”, which will be sold exclusively to FC members, includes a Blu-ray containing footage of the “vistlip 17th Anniversary LIVE[Periodical Cicada]” held at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) on July 7, 2024. It is a luxurious specification that comes with a CD containing the distributed songs “DIGEST -Independent Blue Film-” and “Invisible.” This is only available at the official fan club “VIP LiST / MEMBERS LiST”, and purchases will be accepted on the members’ site starting today, October 1st, with special benefits for each.
As before, there are two types of general distribution: “vister”, which comes with a DVD, and “lipper”, which only comes with a CD. Starting with the schedule in conjunction with the Sapporo/Fukuoka performances in October, events for purchasers are also planned in various locations. Details will be announced from time to time, so please look forward to further updates.
The tour in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka in January, which was announced in July, will be a performance in support of this latest album. Don’t miss these 3 performances, which will be based on the energy of the current tour and incorporate the worldview of the album!
