Tokimeki Records releases second collaboration song “Sorrow” with Taiwanese singer MANDARK

Tokimeki Records released their new single “Sorrow feat. MANDARK” today, October 2nd (Wednesday).

This work features Taiwanese five-member indie band I Mean Us, who is also a member of Sweet John.MANDARKA song featuring on vocals. This is their second collaboration with Tokimeki Records since their cover of The Cranberries’ signature song “Dreams” (1992). It is a work that develops a kaleidoscope-like sound world, with MANDARK’s clear and beautiful singing voice layered on a mellow dance track that incorporates Japanese lyrics.

Tokimeki Records, a beacon of Japanese city pop, has once again teamed up with Taiwanese indie female artist Mandark to create a new song “Sorrow”. The song is a sad urban story set against the backdrop of a friend dying in a virtual world.
