Inner Journey, who celebrated their 5th anniversary on October 1st, released their 4th EP “Hagoromo” today, October 2nd (Wednesday). This work includes the theme song “Yume of the Sun” for the movie “Toritsukushima” which was released in advance on Wednesday, September 4th, “Kirameki” written as the theme song for the NHK Saturday drama “Percent”, and former members of Contains a total of 5 songs, including “I have a premonition” by Kaito (Umion Sakurai) of Dr. “Torch Song” was also selected as the October ending theme for “Kannai Devil” on TVK (TV Kanagawa).
Vocalist Kamoshita commented on the work, which is the first physical release with support musicians and the band’s new starting point, “We chose the name “Hagoromo” so that we can fill it with new songs and fly freely anywhere.” . The power of Kamoshita’s lyrics and music, which has received praise from many people, is combined with the lyrical sounds of Honda and Tomonoshin, and while gently nestling in your heart, it will give you the final push to move forward. This is an EP packed with great songs. The jacket was designed by Kohei Kondo, who participated in the live painting of the “Shinkai Train” music video.
To commemorate the release of this EP, in addition to an in-store event at TOWER RECORD Shinjuku and Shibuya stores, there will also be a panel exhibition, panel lottery, and special receipt giveaways with handwritten messages from the members. (For details, see each store’s website)
Additionally, the music video for the song “Torch Song” from the EP was released at midnight on October 2nd (Wednesday). Regarding the song, Vocalist Kamoshita said, “It’s a heartbreak song that depicts a relationship between two people that can never go back to the way it was before.It’s based on a story about a best friend, and it’s a song about the feelings you’ve had until now, even when the magic of love disappears.” I wrote the lyrics with the feeling that heat is never wasted.The band’s sound and melody are also impressive.”
The director was Hiyori Fujimura, who is young but has worked on music videos for a variety of artists. As the lyrics progress, the expressions and sense of distance between the men and women change, and the scenes of the members performing in a magnificent scenery are must-sees.
Inner Journey continues to improve their live performances day by day as they gain experience in live shows, and you can’t take your eyes off the band’s first Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka tour starting in October.

A 3-piece band consisting of Tasara Kamoshita (Vo & Gt), Hide Honda (Gt), and Shin Tomono (Bas).
