Diana Chiaki’s new album “UNDER CONTROL” will be released on October 10th (Thursday).
He has appeared at large events/festivals such as Boiler Room and FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, Tokyo’s underground techno scene, and even high-end brand events such as Dior and GUCCI. Diana Chiaki has provided numerous mixes for UK’s “NTS RADIO” that make use of her signature sound, and has also demonstrated her talent in producing songs for other artists and commercials.

The energy of the night world hidden in silence is expressed through dry sounds and reverb that drifts between them. The world of sound, quiet yet tense, is expanded, sharing the night time with the listener.
Diana Chiaki, who focuses on pursuing minimalism musically, is conscious of “the body and mind being minimal” during production, and uses the automatism-like state of time such as sleep and unconscious thoughts, He says that he was thinking about being aware of both ends of the state of consciously controlling himself.
Introducing “00:00,” which evokes the mystery of the night and the expectation that something is about to begin, followed by “02:00,” a slow techno tune with a powerful and distorted bass line, and then the clock. The sound leads to “04:00,” which seems to be accompanied by silence and a sense of impatience. Then, “06:00” concludes the race with a low center of gravity.
The artwork is by a tattoo artist based in Paris.liliknightlyA drawing of the artist was used. Like the sound, it expresses a mysterious yet gothic beauty.
There are two release formats: digital and cassette tape. Cassette tapes made from recycled plastic are used as a way to balance the joy of physically owning a work with sustainability for the future.
