When we debuted, GLAY and I had the same radio program director, so they often appeared on my program. After that, I was able to make guest appearances at hall concerts, and I was also given the opportunity to perform the countdown at an outdoor concert in Ishikari. We have collaborated with many others from time to time.
I would like to express my respect for these guys who have been at the forefront of the Japanese music scene for 30 years. However, even now, the way he speaks to me in a friendly manner is the same as when he debuted. For me, they are “Hakodate’s older brothers.” It’s no different than back then.
