Tsuyoshi Domoto will appear on the cover and interview of “AERA October 14th Extra Issue” (Asahi Shimbun Publishing), which will be released on October 7th.
“Maru”, the first solo movie in 27 years to be released on October 18th, is a story that makes you relive your own past.
Domoto says that he received a hot offer from director Naoko Ogigami to appear in the movie. The two’s desire to “create things together!” culminated in this work.
Through the roles he plays, Domoto says, “Everyone suffers from the gap between their true self and the role expected of them by those around them,” and echoes the path he has taken. She added, “I’ve been worrying about how difficult and important it is to be able to love myself and live my life.”
