BLUEBYRDS, a new project by YOSHIKI x Hiroshi Fujiwara, has started! Release singles and albums

The start of BLUEBYRDS, a new project teamed up by YOSHIKI and Hiroshi Fujiwara, has been announced.

BLUEBYRDS released their first single “NOTHING” in advance on September 30th, Japan time, and released their first album “BLUEBYRDS” worldwide on October 4th, Japan time.

On September 30th local time, YOSHIKI’s high fashion brand MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS made its debut at Paris Fashion Week, and Hiroshi Fujiwara attended as a VIP guest. After the show, when he and YOSHIKI were interviewed by the media, they mentioned the start of a new project, BLUEBYRDS.

We met by chance in Paris a few years ago, and we talked about “Let’s make music together again,” and we started working in the studio regularly. It was a private sound source just for the two of us, but I think it would be great if we could use that as a start and update it while sharing our unique worldview with various people.

When I had a meeting with the Baccarat staff in Paris, I heard that Hiroshi was also involved in the design. I visit Paris almost once a month, and there I met Hiroshi again for the first time in a while, and that was the impetus for starting the project. I am very happy that MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS came to the Paris Fashion Week runway show and that I was able to present my project there. I am also very honored to be able to create with Hiroshi Fujiwara, who is extremely influential not only in Japan but also in the world of fashion. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
