[WASUTA]Performance in front of over 20,000 people! I rushed to Tokyo Doronpa’s birthday! “I was fired up with the feeling of putting my heart and soul into one song.”

WASUTA made a guest appearance at the TOKYO DROMPA BIRTHDAY EVENT held at Ajinomoto Stadium on October 5th, which was held at FC Tokyo VS Sagan Tosu, and performed a mini-live at halftime.

WASUTA is a digital native generation idol formed in 2015 whose members include Nanase Hirokawa, Misato Matsuda, Ririka Kodama, and Ruka Mishina. To date, they have set their sights on the world, performing live in 13 countries, and have been in charge of songs for numerous anime such as “Idol Time PriPara” and “Kiratto Pri☆chan.” In March of this year, they successfully held their 9th anniversary live in Tokyo (EX THEATER ROPPONGI) and Osaka (umeda TRAD). The idol group released their 13th single “Natsukoi Dilemma” on August 21st, and is accelerating as they approach their 10th anniversary in March next year.

Today’s TOKYO DROMPA BIRTHDAY EVENT was an event planned to celebrate FC Tokyo’s official mascot character “Tokyo Dronpa”, who celebrated his birthday on October 1st, with his supporters. WASUTA performed a mini live at this event last year, and came to celebrate Tokyo Dronpa for the second year in a row.

When he appeared on the pitch at half-time, he performed the standard song at WASUTA’s live performances, “Eikyumuchuudekoushinchu!” ♡” was performed in a cute, bright and dignified manner to the supporters who came to the stadium with Tokyo Dronpa in the rain, and the venue was filled with loud applause.

We asked the members what they thought after their performance on the pitch.

Leader Hirokawa, who currently serves as FC Tokyo’s photo support ambassador and has been involved with soccer since he was a high school student, said, “This is my first time appearing at halftime of a sports event at Wasta. I had always wanted to be able to work, so this time we were able to perform live at the pitch, and it was truly a dream-like moment.”It was the group’s long-awaited stage performance.

Kodama, who shares the same birthday as Tokyo Dronpa, said, “It’s not often that I get the chance to perform live in front of so many people, and I was so happy and excited that I was able to do something that not everyone could do during the halftime live.” It seems like they enjoyed the valuable experience.

In addition, Mishina, who loves soccer and has been to watch FC Tokyo games, said, “I was really looking forward to the day when I would have the opportunity to perform live while enjoying this space, and I was able to have fun performing. Looking back, Matsuda, who loves watching sports, said, “It was a valuable experience to perform in an atmosphere that can only be experienced there.” I felt very happy and was happy to have a dream-like, fluffy and happy time,” each member said with a satisfied look on their faces.

Regarding the fact that WASUTA performed on the pitch for the first time, Hirokawa said, “We felt the passionate energy of the people who came to watch the soccer on stage, so we put our hearts into each song.” I was able to perform with all my heart and it was so much fun that I got fired up,” he said, apparently feeling fired up by the live performance in such an enthusiastic atmosphere.

Finally, to Tokyo Doronpa, who celebrated his birthday, he said, “We are in the same group, and I think there are some tense games and games where the players are working hard, but I love Doronpa, who is so cute and soothing.
