GOOD BYE APRIL to release new song featuring Higuchi Ai

GOOD BYE APRIL has announced that they will be releasing their fourth major single, “Nuance de Narete feat. Higuchiai” on May 1st.

The song, which features Higuchi Ai, has a comfortable city pop sound and lyrics that gently encourage one’s individuality, making it a song that will make you feel the moisture from spring to early summer. A teaser video has also been released on GOOD BYE APRIL’s official YouTube channel.

In addition, it has been decided that it will be aired for the first time on FM Nagano’s “MAGIC HOUR” broadcast on April 22nd, where comments from GOOD BYE APRIL members will also be broadcast.

Prior to its release, a Pre-add/Pre-save campaign for “Tell it with Nuance feat. Higuchiai” has started today on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube Music. All applicants will receive a cover photo wallpaper of “Tell me with nuances” autographed by the members.

I relaxed my shoulders and was honest with my heart as I composed the melody. When I heard Nobumoto’s lyrics, Ai-chan’s voice naturally came to mind.
I was really happy to be able to work with Ai-chan, who is from the same hometown and who I’ve played live with and written songs with since the beginning of the band’s formation, after going our separate ways. I think it’s a song that expresses an honest heart, with a mixture of new premonitions and anxieties.
It’s difficult to be yourself even as an adult, but I hope it’s a song that feels like a spring breeze, one that will suddenly take the pressure off your shoulders and lighten your heart.

To love someone and have them love you, you need confidence, and you are required to love and affirm yourself no matter what.
I felt disappointed in myself when I compared myself to others, thinking that everyone was doing such difficult things.
I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I can’t love my immature self that easily.
However, once I realized that I could just hide or disguise the things I couldn’t do anything about, I started to feel a little better.
And when the lyrics were finished, I heard Ai-chan’s voice.
Ai-chan has always given me the words I need since we met.
I hope that along with Ai-chan’s singing voice, this song will reach people who are struggling every day like me.
