me2 released their new EP “Filtration” today, October 9th (Wednesday).
me2 is a rapper based in Tokyo. Last year, they also attracted attention with the release of their 1st EP “Message In a Bottle,” which featured Senninsho and MASS-HOLE.
This album includes a total of 6 songs, including the lead single “Phantom” produced by Stones Taro, plus 5 new songs. Poivre, who is also known as a member of Die, No Ties, Fly, MET as MTHA2, 3icrowave, and others will participate. A complete change from his previous work, which developed classical hip-hop, this work presents a new side with rap that incorporates a melodic approach. Mixing was done by Jelly One, mastering was done by Maito Ota, and artwork was done by photographer YURI HORIE.
