Nippon Television’s “Sekaicho Gourmet” 2-hour special on October 16th will feature Hawaii and Spain.
Guests include Hiki Ukisho (Beautiful Boy), Ami Kikuchi, SHELLY, EXILE TAKAHIRO, Natsuna, and Kaho Minami, and they will have fun with MCs Haraichi and Shiori Sato while watching a report on “local food.”

Daiki Arioka and Taishi Nakagawa go to Spain. In fact, ever since they co-starred in a drama 10 years ago, the two have become such close friends that they even share each other’s locations using GPS. These close friends are embarking on their first overseas trip together. We will try out 8 things that we would like to accomplish in Spain that cannot be done in Japan, and eat all the authentic Spanish cuisine that is a little different from Japan.
Barcelona is an artistic city with deep connections to famous artists such as Picasso and Dali. As soon as the event started, the two were so excited as they saw Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, saying, “Wow, that’s amazing.”
In order to fulfill my wish of “eating authentic Spanish gourmet food at a market,” my first stop was the “St. Josep Market.”
Enjoy a variety of exquisite gourmet foods, such as pan con tomate (bread coated with tomato and olive oil), shrimp ajillo, and freshly shaved prosciutto. Arioka highly praises the fried egg topped with firefly squid, saying, “You can eat it endlessly!”
Next, Nakagawa took a picture of Arioka with his own camera, saying he wanted to take a good photo. In one scene, Nakagawa is dissatisfied when he takes a photo with colorful vegetables in the background, but says, “It didn’t really stand out,” and Arioka asks, “Why?”
There are also plenty of other things to do, such as riding a Segway on the public roads and enjoying the spectacular view from an observation spot overlooking Barcelona. At Casa Mila, a rental condominium designed by Gaudi and registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, take a quiz to guess the rent for each unit (approximately 400 square meters of floor space).
