King & Prince appear as guests on Apple Music original radio program! Talking about the secret behind the creation of the concept album

■“I have created an album that I think is the best ever” (King & Prince Kaito Takahashi)

King & Prince appeared as a guest on episode 181 of Apple Music’s radio program “J-Pop Now Radio”, which was released on October 16th.

“J-Pop Now Radio” is a radio program filled with the “current” of J-Pop, introducing noteworthy new releases and popular hit songs. Interviews with special guests by DJ Kentaro Ochiai that can only be heard here are also popular.

Regarding his latest album “Re:ERA”, which was released in advance on October 14th, Kaito Takahashi (“Taka” is officially spelled “Hadashidaka”) said, “We have created an album that I think is the best ever,” and Ren Nagase said, Speaking about the origin of the title, he said, “We carried the past on our shoulders and expressed our desire to build a new King & Prince era (ERA) once again.”

After listening to the latest album with Dolby Atmos spatial audio, Takahashi said, “I felt like I was gradually immersed in the sound, and I thought spatial audio was really interesting.” Nagase said, “In the song ‘Odyssey,’ “When you hear the sound of someone sleeping on someone’s chest, you can almost hear it pounding,” he says, adding to the charm of the song and the sound experience that makes it feel like you’re being surrounded by sound from all directions.
