Shuri x Jesse (SixTONES) co-starring drama “Monster” episode 2 scene photos & synopsis released

■Song plagiarism issue with idol Shiho played by Naena! What action does Ryoko take in a desperate situation?

Scene photos from the second episode of the Kantere/Fuji TV drama “Monster,” starring Shuri, in which Jesse (SixTONES) plays a young lawyer who graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo. The synopsis has been released.

This work is about a mysterious monster lawyer, Ryoko Kannami, who is not bound by “common sense” and faces the other party by “eliminating emotions”, but she is faced with various problems unique to the Reiwa era, where the law sometimes has not caught up. A unique legal entertainment where you face up to legal battles as if it were a game.

■Episode 2 synopsis
Koji Terada (Riki Honda), who has been a long-time fan of the female idol group Happy Rabbit, has been banned from the live venue, so he visits the office and cries to Sugiura (Jesse) to ask for something to be done.

Immediately after that, Shiho (Naenano), Terada’s favorite, points out that the lyrics of the new song he has written are very similar to songs that have already been released, and the office president Shinya Masuoka (Chiyoshi Tsumura) asks Ryoko (Shuri) for help and comes to her.

The person who complained of plagiarism was Masahiro Kurokawa (Satoshi Yamanaka), a music producer and the president of Shiho’s previous agency. In fact, although the lyrics of the two songs are exactly the same, there is nothing left that shows the creative process, let alone the notebook in which the lyrics were written, but he says he has not plagiarized them.

However, during a discussion between the two agencies with Ryoko and Sugiura present, it is revealed that Shiho has lied about her profile, including her age and birthplace. Giving the impression that Shiho is a liar, he announces to the media that he will sue him and his agency for copyright infringement.

To add insult to injury, a video of Shiho secretly filmed at a convenience store has been uploaded online, and it shows Shiho getting angry at the store clerk who says he ripped off the lyrics. Shiho’s number of followers on SNS has drastically decreased and critical comments have been received one after another, and Shiho is forced into a desperate situation as an idol. Meanwhile, Ryoko visits Terada, a veteran fan, and decides to “show her sincerity” in order to win…
