UN1CON's debut single "ART" is now available for distribution! The MV will be premiered on October 30th at 8pm! MV Teaser is also released! Comments have also arrived!

The group consists of five members, including Fuka Aramaki (JOA), who appeared on “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS” and attracted a lot of attention, as well as AKARI, KOKORO, NARAE, and MANAMI. 5-member girl group “UN1CON” debuted on October 19th. Their debut single “ART” has been released online.

“ART” was written by Seann Bowe, who wrote Weezer’s “Happy Hour,” which was nominated for a Grammy Award, and Yosuke Okamura, who wrote AAA’s “Koi Sora to Amezora,” which won the Best Song Award at the 55th Japan Record Awards. The music was composed by Korea’s best producer ROYDO, who has released huge hits such as Wanna One’s “BOOMERANG” (70 million YouTube views), THE BOYZ’s “No Air”, and MONSTAX, and MFBTY, which features BTS leader RM. KONQUEST, who produced Yoon Mi-rae, who made her breakthrough with her songs “부끄부끄(Feat. EE, Rap Monster of BTS, Dino-J)” and the theme song for the Korean drama “Crash Landing on You”, is in charge of the production. The lineup includes a gorgeous lineup of Japanese, American, and Korean artists.

At Japan’s largest fashion and music event “Rakuten GirlsAward 2024 AUTUMN/WINTER”, they performed “ART” for the first time and greatly excited the venue as the opening act.

It has been decided that the music video for “ART” will be premiered on October 30th at 8pm. Prior to the release of the main MV, an MV teaser was released on the UN1CON official YouTube channel. JOA comment

It’s been a long time everyone! It’s Joa!
I actually joined UN1CON for the last time in April of this year. We’ve been together for three and two years, so I was nervous at first, but now it feels like we’ve been together for many years! lol
We are really happy to be able to release our song this time! With a cool melody, lyrics with a message, and catchy choreography, the day has finally come for everyone to see and hear it! And I’m really happy to be able to perform it for the first time at Girls Awards.
We sincerely thank everyone who supported us and everyone who was involved in UN1CON!
I will continue to grow as an artist! Thank you for your support of UN1CON!

AKARI comment

After being trainees for about 3 and a half years, I am very happy that these five members were able to debut as UN1CON! Of course, it wasn’t always easy, but I’m really glad that I was able to take steady steps one step at a time.
The sound and lyrics of “ART” are very good, and the moment the intro plays, your body moves, making it a cool song suitable for our debut! When we went to Korea, we had the opportunity to receive direct feedback from Roydo, who created the song, and I think we were able to express our individuality in the world view of the song, so please enjoy listening to it. I would be happy if you could give it to me!
It was a great honor to be able to perform on the big stage of Makuhari Messe on my debut day! I hope today’s performance cheered everyone up and made them excited about the time they will spend with UN1CON!

KOKORO comment

Dancing and singing were all new to me, so I learned the moves during lessons, sang out loud, and started from scratch.Thankfully, a year and a half after I was a trainee, I was scouted by a member of UN1CON, and we made our debut as a group of five. I’m happy to be able to do it
The fact that our song is coming out is a mix of joy and wonder, and I’m enjoying the way I feel right now lol.
Even before my debut, I was so happy that I was able to appear on GIRLS AWARD that I was jumping up and down lol
I’m really happy to be able to deliver “ART” to everyone on my debut day, and I’m excited to think that I can continue to show it to you!

NARAE comment

Throughout my trainee period of over two and a half years, I worked hard at practicing while also working part-time. Over the past two years, there have been some changes in the members, and I’m very happy to see the results of my continuous practice, even though I’ve had some troubles and obstacles in terms of dance and vocals!
Her debut single “ART” has a hip-hop sound, a very cool song and a dance with catchy choreography! Also, I never thought that I would be able to participate in the GIRLS AWARD on my debut day. I’m very honored! Thank you very much for the wonderful experience!
Moreover, I was very happy to be able to perform “ART” for the first time on such a big stage! It’s just the start, so I’ll be careful, have fun, and do my best in my own way.

MANAMI comment

It’s been more than three years since I moved to Tokyo to become an S1 trainee, and I’ve had more difficult days than fun. I’ve come this far with the desire to make a living through music and to make people smile. Finally, it’s the starting line.
At UN1CON and with these five people. I think the song ART captures who we are today. I’m sure there are lyrics that both us and everyone who listens to this song can relate to. I hope this song can bring hope to as many people as possible.
I am truly honored to be able to perform at such a wonderful event on the day of my memorable debut. Thank you very much. I will continue to love music without forgetting my gratitude to my family, my agency, my teachers, and everyone else who has supported me so far so that I can show them the best scenery.
